The ultrastructure in the plant Golgi complex of the meristema Pisum sativum after exposure to N-ethylmaleimide (NEM) is analyzed in this article. Tissue samples were obtained from seedlings were incubated for 15 minutes on ice with 100 m M solution of NEM. Then it washed with distilled water, fixed retainer Miloninga and prepared for TEM. We revealed the stacked cisterns the plant Golgi complex after exposure to NEM. The cisterns contains COPI-coated bud. We revealed varicose tubules end vesicles. These experimental data call into question the participation of COPI vesicles as carriers of cargo through the plant Golgi complex end against the vesicular and cistern maturation- progression models of intra-Golgi transport. The possible role of COPI vesicles in mechanism for inhibiting of fusion membranes Golgi for the inta-Golgi transport, similar to the «kiss-end-run» model for human and animal cells is discussed.
