The results of comparative histomorphometric analysis of bone regenerate, forming a cone-shaped cavity in the metaphyseal defect in the application of composite implant materials. In the material composition comprises isolated from bovine bone calcium phosphate compounds and low molecular weight non-collagenous bone proteins having different affinities to the ion exchanger. For histological and histomorphometric studies used fragments of proximal tibial metaphyseal bone and shoulder adult mongrel dogs, including the area formed defects. Histomorphometric study sections included determination of static parameters of bone formation and resorption : volume, surface and thickness of osteoid surface resorption. Also measured the thickness of the trabecular volume and trabecular bone, which corresponded to the percentage of trabecular bone volume occupied by osteoid and mineralized bone, excluding medullary and vascular space. Histological and histomorphometric study of bone regenerates found that the investigated materials cause the activation processes of bone formation , resorption and angiogenesis that contributes to the restoration of the defect.
